TAL Holdings, LLC to Acquire Gerretsen Building Supply

I am very pleased to announce that TAL Holdings LLC has agreed in principle to acquire Gerretsen Building Supply Co. in Roseburg, Oregon.

An all-employee meeting has been held to announce the acquisition by TAL to the Gerretsen employees. After a transition period, the Gerretsen Building Supply store will open as part of the TAL family of companies on February 4, 2019.

Gerretsen was founded in 1923 by Joe Denn and William Gerretsen. Today, Gerretsen is the leading building material supplier in the Roseburg market. The culture of the company, the market they serve, and the quality of personnel make Gerretsen an excellent fit for our organization. Because of their strong brand recognition, they will continue to operate under the name of Gerretsen Building Supply.

I am very excited about adding the Gerretsen organization to our company. They are an outstanding company and the combination of our two organizations will prove to be very positive.
