Kodiak Celebrates Leadership Appointments

Kodiak announced several appointments at the Operating Leadership level across its companies. AO Door (Texas), Direct Lumber and Door (Colorado), American Builders Supply (Florida), and Arizona Wholesale Supply (Arizona) are all the beneficiaries of these dynamic leaders.

Linda Hawkins was named as President at AO Door in October 2019. She leads a very successful commercial door operation in the Dallas market. She has been with AO since 2009. As her career has developed with the company, she has grown market share and profitability. Her previous title was VP of Operations.

Michael Severa became the President of Direct Lumber and Door (“DLD”) on April 1st. His new leadership role will utilize his vast understanding of DLD, as he has been a significant contributor to the company since its very conception. His astute understanding of the market will serve DLD well. The previous President of this operation, Tom Kostelecky, has transitioned to SVP-Business Development for Kodiak Building Partners.

Cliff Shimer was promoted to President of American Builders Supply (“ABS”) on April 1st. His keen skills at building relationships, sales, and profitability will continue to benefit ABS, as Cliff leads the company in a people first style. ABS’s previous president, Mark Garboski, is now the President of Kodiak’s Production LBM Platform overseeing ABS, DLD, Christensen Lumber, and Premier Building Supply.

Michele Garrett came to Kodiak in May, most recently from Restoration Hardware and Whirlpool, to apply her vast experience in installed products, marketing, logistics, negotiating, and team building as President of Arizona Wholesale Supply. Bill Parks, AWS’s previous President has semi-retired and will serve Kodiak’s Interiors Group as an industry ambassador.
