Report: Ashley Furniture to Close Statesville, NC Facility
On September 15, 2022, Ashley Furniture, LLC (HQ: Arcadia, WI) filed a WARN Notice with the North Carolina Department of Commerce and the Honorable Mayor Constantine H. Kutteh-Una of Statesville, North Carolina.
In the filing, Ashley Furniture stated that on “September 15, 2022, we informed our employees that we are consolidating our Statesville Facility (at 607 Meacham Rd., Statesville, NV 28677) with our manufacturing facility in Advance, NC. As a result, the Company will permanently discontinue all operations at the Statesville facility on November 15, 2022. We are excited to offer many opportunities for employees to transfer to our Advance facility and hope they will continue employment there.”
