Home Hardware Stores Limited is pleased to announce two Home stores have been recognized with a 2022 Outstanding Retailer Award by Hardlines Inc. The awards were announced at the 26th Annual Hardlines Conference and Gala taking place October 18 to 19 at Queen’s Landing Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

Handed out by Hardlines Inc., the Outstanding Retailer Awards have recognized Canada’s best home improvement retailing stores for the past 30 years. This year, Home Hardware Dealers were honoured in two award categories, including:

  • Best Hardware Store – Quincaillerie Jean Denis Limitée, Sophie Denis and Philippe Moisan, Dealer-Owners – St-Raymond, Quebec.

“We are extremely honoured to be named the best hardware store in Canada, and proud to have served our local community with essential products and exceptional customer service since our store was established by my great-grandfather in 1928. This store has been in my family for four generations. We would like to thank both our dedicated team and our loyal customers, as without them, this award would not be possible.”

  • Best Building Supply/Home Centre (over 15,000 sq. ft.) – Grande Prairie Home Hardware Building Centre, Kevin Gillman, General Manager – Grande Prairie, Alberta.

“We are extremely honoured to receive this national industry award, which would not be possible without our dedicated team of employees who uphold the exceptional standard of service the Home Hardware brand is known for. From the smallest bolt to the largest house framing project, our team can handle it all. We are on a first name basis with most of our customers and they shop at our store because they feel welcomed and know we are there to offer helpful advice, no matter the project.”

On behalf of Home Hardware Stores Limited and the Dealer-Owners representing close to 1,100 Home Hardware stores in communities across Canada, I would like to congratulate them on this achievement.”
