Mann & Parker Lumber and Specialty Lumber Company Merge to Form New Company Named Landmark Lumber Group

Merger and new company formation creates most comprehensive source for wholesale hardwood and softwood lumber in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Mann and Parker Lumber Company, a wholesale lumber distributor, and Specialty Lumber Company, a softwood lumber distributor, today announce the formation of a new company. Landmark Lumber Group will provide their clients with the largest lumber product line available from a single supplier in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The new name takes effect October 15, 2023. The new name, Landmark, reflects a turning point in the wholesale industry; the establishment of a new type of lumber wholesaler that goes beyond a single type of wood to provide a trusted, reliable, one-stop shop for hardwood, softwood and associated lumber products.

Given the distinct grading and sizing systems of wood, Landmark Lumber Group will operate two divisions: Landmark Lumber Hardwood and Landmark Lumber Softwood. This division is strictly quality-control based, ensuring that each wood type is processed and handled to its specific quality standards. However, Landmark Lumber Group consultants provide products from both divisions.

Landmark Lumber Group will operate out of a 27-acre facility in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. The campus houses corporate offices, 5 warehouses, 7 dry kilns, a full-service moulding and millwork facility and their truck fleet. This convenient location qualifies the entire Mid-Atlantic region as a local delivery. Expert lumber consultants are based in their home regions providing local market expertise.
