Hunter Douglas Divests Nedal, Dutch Based Aluminum Extrusion Business

Hunter Douglas, the world market leader in window coverings (Luxaflex®) and a major manufacturer of architectural products, has divested Nedal, its Dutch based aluminum extrusion business to Purso, a Finnish family owned producer of aluminum profiles, components and building and lighting systems, effective 31 December 2018. Nedal’s management and operations will remain unchanged. The Works Council supports this change. Terms were not disclosed.

Nedal had 2018 sales of approx. EUR 75 million and employs 200 people.
