Hunter Douglas Acquires Copaco Screenweavers
Hunter Douglas, the world market leader in window coverings (Luxaflex®) and a major manufacturer of architectural products, has acquired Copaco Screenweavers, a leading European manufacturer of sunscreen fabrics.
Copaco Screenweavers, based in Bavikhove (Belgium), had 2018 sales of EUR 25 mln and employs 125 people. The company will continue to operate independently under current management.
The acquisition strengthens Hunter Douglas’ offer for sunscreen fabrics, complementing the existing programs from Mermet and Helioscreen.
