New Ace Hardware of Thousand Oaks Holds Grand Opening
The new Ace Hardware of Thousand Oaks store at 1934 East Avenida De Los Arboles will kick off its grand opening festivities with a “board cutting” ceremony on Thursday, August 29 at 4:30 p.m. Local dignitaries and store associates will cut a ceremonial board to mark the occasion.
The grand opening celebration will continue on Saturday, Aug. 31 with family-friendly activities, vendor demonstrations, great product deals, and more. In addition to tax-free purchases on August 31 and September 1 during a “We Pay Your Sales Tax” event, shoppers at the new store will enjoy many other special sales and offers August 30 through September 2.
Grand Opening Schedule for Saturday, Aug. 31 (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
– Vendor demonstrations – including BBQ grills and tastings from Traeger, outdoor power equipment and power tools from Makita, Milwaukee Tools and Stihl, pet food from Blue Buffalo, and the latest plants and products from Rain Drip and Armstrong Growers.
– Free kids’ activities – including face painting, balloon animals, and a “paint-a-pot” planting activity
– Ace Rewards prize giveaways – including the chance to win a $500 Ace Gift Card
– Free treat from Kona Ice
The new store sells traditional hardware products such as fasteners, electrical supplies, tools, plumbing, and features several “store-in-a-store” concepts and departments – The Garden Center, Backyard BBQ, Outdoor Power Equipment, The Tool Shop, Pet Supply, The Paint Studio, and Kitchen Essentials.
