Westlake Hardware Announces New Ace Hardware of Chico

The new Ace Hardware of Chico store at 231 W East Avenue will kick off its grand opening festivities with a “board cutting” ceremony on Friday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. Local dignitaries and store associates will cut a ceremonial board to mark the occasion.

The grand opening celebration will continue on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. with family-friendly activities, vendor demonstrations, and more. In addition to tax-free purchases Oct. 18-20 during a “We Pay Your Sales Tax” event, shoppers at the new store will enjoy many other special sales throughout the weekend. The store will open at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

The new store sells traditional hardware products such as fasteners, electrical supplies, tools, plumbing, and features several “store-in-a-store” concepts and departments – The Garden Center, Backyard BBQ, Outdoor Power Equipment, The Tool Shop, Pet Supply, The Paint Studio, and Kitchen Essentials, and Hallmark Gold Crown gifts and décor items.
