Report: New Owners to Reopen Peabody Hardware and Lumber Under New Name
According to a local news report, the former Peabody Hardware and Lumber (a d/b/a of Whitney Enterprisies, L.L.C., HQ: Peabody, KS) is being reopened under new management. Jamie and Korie Hatton, owners of Hatton’s Hometown Hardware, Inc., “plan to open a new hardware and lumber business sometime in April.”
The Marion County Record reports that a “register of deeds notice of the sale of Whitney Enterprises, LLC to Hatton’s Hometown Hardware, Inc. appeared Feb. 19 in the Marion County Record. The Hattons declined to disclose terms of the private sale.”
