VT Industries Growing Wisconsin Facilities

VT Industries, headquartered in Holstein, IA is actively pursuing growth plans for both of its facilities in Wisconsin. VT acquired Eggers Industries, with facilities in Two Rivers and Neenah, Wisconsin, in October of 2018. Upon the acquisition, VT owner, Doug Clausen, communicated to the employees the company planned to sustain and grow both operations in Wisconsin and capitalize on the workforce, facilities, equipment, and general location of both operations.

In June of this year, VT broke ground on a 45,000 SF addition to its facility in Neenah, Wisconsin. This new addition will house a new Core Assembly Machine (“CAM”) and is the first step in a 3-year project to increase capacity at the Neenah facility by over 50%. The next phases of the project will include additional automation, as well as added production employment opportunities.

The growth plans for the Two Rivers facility focus on expanding into new markets with variations of current products and some new product offerings. The initial emphasis will be focused on expanding its door production. To accommodate this growth plan, the company will be hiring approximately 50 production employees over the next 6-9 months, as well as a few new positions in targeted areas of the office. The company has begun this recruiting process. To compliment a very competitive wage and benefit package, a $1,500 signing bonus will be offered to new hires. In honor of National Manufacturing Month in October and to celebrate the Two-Year Anniversary of VT’s acquisition of Eggers Industries, the Two Rivers facility will be hosting an Open House for the community on Thursday, October 1 from 1:30 pm until 6:30 pm. This will be an opportunity to tour the production facility and learn more about VT Industries, its product offering and the markets it serves. Applications for employment will be available at the Open House, as well as opportunities for immediate interviews. Face coverings will be required for all Open House participants and social distancing will be practiced during this event.
