Marcus Lumber Announces New Appointments

We’re excited to announce the recent addition of six team members to our growing company. The new faces are found within different areas of the company with each bringing a diverse background and skill level.

Paul Davenport joins the sales team with a focus in flooring sales and kitchen and bath products. Paul has worked in the industry for many years, with experience in flooring installation and construction product sales. Paul lives with his wife on an acreage north of Granville and enjoys spending time in the outdoors.

Taylor Hanson, most recently lived in Ames and comes to Marcus Lumber after working close to a decade in the construction field. Taylor is in project sales and estimating at Marcus Lumber. He also designs and draws floorplans through the softplan drawing software. Taylor enjoys hitting the gym for a work out and is currently searching for a motorcycle to work on as his next garage project.

Michael Dorr joins Marcus Lumber as customer service team member. Mike had previously worked for over two decades in a commercial construction and aggregate sales company in Des Moines. He recently moved up to Northwest Iowa and now resides outside Holstein on an acreage. Mike enjoys tackling do-it-yourself projects and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

Reese Hageman and Gus Coll, both join Marcus Lumber’s yard crew, helping customers with their deliveries and pick up orders. Reese is a father of two and lives in Marcus. Gus recently added to his family with birth of his son and lives in Correctionville.

The most recent Marcus Lumber team member addition is Noah Livermore from Le Mars. Noah graduated from South Dakota State University with an associate’s degree in construction management. Livermore will be joining the sales team and was most recently working construction locally. Noah is a father of one and will be getting married in the very near future.
