Report: Specialty Building Products Owner Said to Mull $1.1 Billion Sale
According to news reports, Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC (HQ: Chicago, IL), is considering the sale of Specialty Building Products Holdings, LLC (HQ: Duluth, GA).
Bloomberg L.P., reports that the potential sale of Specialty Building Products could “value the business at about $1.1 billion, including debt, according to people familiar with the matter.”
Madison Dearborn acquired Specialty Building Products in 2017. Specialty Building Products brands include U.S. Lumber Group, Alexandria Moulding & Midwest Lumber.
