Superior Cabinets Acquires R.D. Henry & Company

Superior Cabinets is pleased to announce that an agreement has been finalized to acquire R.D. Henry & Company, based in Wichita, Kansas.

Established in 1981 by brothers Ron and Dan Henry, formerly known as Custom Cupboards, R.D. Henry & Company has built a solid reputation on building quality custom and semi-custom furniture-grade cabinetry, both in the full access and framed build standards. R.D. Henry & Company sells though their dealer network in the United States, producing cabinets at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wichita, Kansas. Entering their 40th year of business, they have demonstrated to be a proven leader in their commitment to quality customer service and producing incredible finishes.

Founded in 1980, Superior Cabinets has grown to become one of Western Canada’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of kitchen cabinets. Superior Millwork Ltd. O/A Superior Cabinets was acquired in 2018 by the Buller Family of Winnipeg, Manitoba, who has a long history and transformative track record in the kitchen cabinet industry, as previously associated with Kitchen Craft, Norcraft Companies Inc., Omega Cabinetry, StarMark Cabinetry, UltraCraft Cabinetry and Mid Continent Cabinetry, among others.

Both Superior Cabinets and R.D. Henry & Company will remain business as usual, focusing on providing what they both do best, providing the best-in-industry customer experience, outstanding design solutions and the finest product portfolio. R.D. Henry & Co. will continue to operate as a separate entity, as a subsidiary of Superior. The group of companies will each continue their expansion plans into new markets in Canada and the Continental United States as their top priority for the next few years.
