Studio Shed, the leader in modern, prefabricated outdoor structures and Accessory Dwelling Units (“ADUs”), announced its North American expansion into Canada, opening e-commerce sales to Canadian residents this summer.

Since 2008, Studio Shed has provided backyard solutions for home improvement projects across the United States. During the pandemic, the company saw a significant increase in sales, up to 150% from previous years, particularly for its home office and ADU product lines as the need for space at home created an increased demand for detached structures. With easy installation, a simplified permitting and construction process, hundreds of customizable options, and lower costs compared to traditional home renovations, the company has created an efficient and affordable way to deliver backyard products.

ADUs are additional, independent living spaces on a property, most commonly in the backyard, that can be optimized to fit the specific need of each customer. In addition to checking permitting and shipping costs online, customers can also view estimated monthly payments based on location, credit score, and project costs through enhanced online features.
