St. Charles Do it Best Hardware Celebrated Grand Opening Event

St. Charles Do it Best Hardware recently celebrated its grand opening with a weekend of events, giveaways, and savings opportunities for customers.

The celebration started Friday, October 22, with a contractor-exclusive event featuring food, contractor specials, and a prize drawing for attendees. On Saturday, Mayor Lora Vitek kicked off the day of family-friendly festivities with a ceremonial ribbon cutting using a custom-engraved saw. Owner Todd Gordon partnered with nearby restaurants to cater the two-day event, taking an opportunity to support other area businesses. Attendees enjoyed a variety of fare from Dave’s Burritos, Giordano Italian Restaurant, Panda Express, and Bulldog Ale House.

Prize drawings continued through the weekend and included a Channellock Wet/Dry Vac, drill kits from Milwaukee and DEWALT, a DEWALT jigsaw, a Black & Decker palm sander, and the grand prize of a Weber Spirit stainless steel grill. Savings on select merchandise throughout the store will continue through October 31.

Located at 3619 E. Main Street in St. Charles, the new store includes approximately 20,000 square feet of tools by Milwaukee, DEWALT, Makita, and Channellock, as well as Graco sprayer equipment and accessories. The Color BarTM custom paint center provides customers with color and design inspiration and paints by Pratt & Lambert, Best Look, Cabot, Krylon, and Rust-Oleum.

In all, the store offers more than 20,000 different products, with thousands more available in their warehouse.
