Timber Products Ampine Update

On July 25, 2022 a fire broke out at the Timber Products Ampine Division particleboard mill located in Sutter Creek, CA. All employees exited the building safely. We are working closely with local and state officials to investigate the cause of the fire.

Timber Products is undertaking an investigation of the site to determine the extent of the damage and the feasibility of future operations. This will require an indefinite closure of operations at this site while we assess the options for moving forward. We are working closely with our employees during this indefinite closure to minimize the impacts to employees, including providing opportunities for employment at other Timber Products manufacturing facilities, working with local employment agencies, and providing connections to other local employers. We appreciate the outpouring of support from the local community for our employees.
