York County Lumber Announces Closure
It is disappointing to announce York County Lumber Corp. (“YCLC”) is closing after 62 years of continuous successful operations. The closure is in part a result of the highway transportation project. YCLC was founded by Anthony J. Land, and subsequently operated by Michael E. Land.
Throughout almost the entire 62 years, YCLC was managed in part and especially the last 30 years by Edward Garman. We, the Land family are very appreciative of all the friends, customers and vendors who have been loyal to YCLC throughout the years.
