Report: Early Morning Fire at Walker Lumber Company in Woodland
According to local news reports, Walker Lumber Company, Inc. (HQ: Woodland, PA), had a fire erupt at their site Wednesday morning.
WTAJ reports that early in the morning of Wednesday April 19, 2023, a fire erupted on site and destroyed the sawmill building. Walker Lumber Company President, Nicholas Ince, told WTAJ the “sawmill was abandoned and they had an auction for many of the items inside just a few weeks ago.” Ince went on to say that “it really won’t have any impact, any adverse impact on the business at all. We look forward to having a good and successful business going forward.”
