Richard S. “Rick” Haberacker, 70, of Upper Milford Twp., passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, in L.V. Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Eugene R. Haberacker. Rick and his wife Marlene celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in June.

Rick is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughters, Becky Haberacker and Leslie Haberacker and her partner Nathan Smith; sisters, Lauri Centolanza (Gary) and Lisa Stachina (Frank); sister-in-law, Joyce Zuzack and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rick was predeceased by grandparents Charles and Mabel Haberacker, step-parents William and Loretta Slezak and brother-in-law Dave Zuzack.

Rick graduated from William Allen H.S. in 1971 and Delaware Valley College in 1975. He began his career as the manager of Singmaster Lumber in Macungie. Rick was a partner in MRD Lumber Co. for over 35 years.

We want to thank the Macungie Ambulance Corp, the PA State Police and the doctors and nurses of the LVHN Emergency Dept. for working to save him. We especially want to thank Monsignor Edward Coyle, Father Abraham Ha and all of our family and friends for their love and support.
