U.S. Congresswoman Virginia Foxx Tours ECMD, Inc.

North Wilkesboro-based ECMD, Inc. welcomed Representative Virginia Foxx to its Wilkesboro, NC manufacturing facility. During her visit Representative Foxx saw firsthand how the dedicated employees of ECMD make finger joint decorative mouldings, architectural boards and stair parts that go into new and remodeled homes.

During a company forum, Representative Foxx was able to meet with over 70 employees to share her priorities as Chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. As employees asked Congresswoman Foxx various questions, she emphasized that being 100% employee owned, ECMD employees have an opportunity to impact how well the company performs and to share in the financial success they help create.
