Do it Best Foundation Raises Record $1.36 Million at Fore the Cause Golf Tournament

The Do it Best Foundation hosted its fifth annual Fore the Cause golf tournament on June 9, raising a record-breaking $1.36 million to support nonprofit organizations across the country and surpassing its fundraising goal of $1.25 million.
A record 460 golfers, including Do it Best suppliers, vendors and partners, participated in the event, which was held across four of Fort Wayne’s premier golf courses: Fort Wayne Country Club, Orchard Ridge, Pine Valley and Sycamore Hills. The tournament supports the Foundation’s mission to fund nonprofit organizations and agencies that serve children, families and underserved communities nationwide.
“This event continues to grow in both impact and enthusiasm each year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our partners and community,” said Curtis Smith, executive director of the Do it Best Foundation. “What makes it even more meaningful is that every dollar raised comes into Fort Wayne and is then distributed to incredible nonprofit organizations serving communities locally and across the country. It’s a powerful way to give back and a beautiful picture of collective generosity.”
At the kickoff event, the Do it Best Foundation unveiled a new logo and website, aligning its visual identity with the broader Do it Best Group. The Foundation remains focused on its mission to support nonprofit community organizations dedicated to serving others, with a special emphasis on four key areas: health and wellness, youth enrichment, the arts and community development.
Since its founding in 2019, the Foundation has awarded nearly $2 million in grants to organizations across the country, advancing efforts to uplift children, families and underserved communities.
Planning is already underway for next year’s tournament, scheduled for June 8, 2026.
