Direct Lumber and Door of Colorado Supports Transportation & Construction Girl Program With HOYA Group

Women are shaping the future of the construction industry, stepping into leadership roles and driving progress across the industry. As emerging leaders, it is vital to educate and empower the next generation in construction. Direct Lumber and Door of Colorado is committed to supporting young women in the industry, recently pairing with the HOYA Foundation in efforts of this mission.
Through the Transportation & Construction Girl program, young women who took part were able to gain hands-on experience in real-world activites such as forklift operation and window reglazing. Direct Lumber and Door recognizes that it is extremely monumental to pave ways to for the next generation of young women. Programs like T&C Girl with HOYA are beneficial as they educate, familiarize, and inspire young women to pursue their goals in this industry.
