Marvin Promotes Operations Leader to Vice President

Long-tenured Marvin leader Chris Barta will head fiberglass operations in new role
Marvin has promoted Chris Barta to the new role of vice president of fiberglass operations. In this role, Barta will oversee manufacturing operations across Marvin’s three fiberglass manufacturing locations in Fargo, North Dakota, Roanoke, Virginia, and Kansas City, Kansas.
Barta brings more than three decades of experience with Marvin to this new role, including more than 20 years in leadership roles across engineering and manufacturing operations of Marvin’s fiberglass product collections. Most recently, Barta was a senior director of operations focused on driving operational excellence in safety, quality and productivity for Marvin’s Fargo-area facilities.

Barta will lead teams across fiberglass operations including engineering, continuous improvement, materials and supply chain to strengthen processes and efficiency while offering added value to Marvin’s team members and customers.

Barta is a graduate of North Dakota State University, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management and his Master of Business Administration. Currently, he contributes to his alma mater as a member of the College of Engineering Advisory board.
