House-Hasson Hardware Appoints Chief Financial Officer and VP of Purchasing

House-Hasson Hardware, the largest independent regional wholesale hardware distributor in the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Bunch as Chief Financial Officer.

Jay brings more than 30 years of extensive financial leadership and accounting experience to the company. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in accounting, Jay is a licensed CPA in the state of Tennessee.
He began his career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand before joining Sea Ray Boats as Plant Controller, advancing through various operational and production roles over an 11-year tenure. Jay later joined Scripps Networks, which became part of Discovery and Warner Bros. Discovery, where he spent more than 16 years in roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of General Ledger Accounting and Senior Director of Global Content Accounting. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance and CFO at Sailfish Boats, marking a return to the marine industry.

House-Hasson also welcomes Matthew Patti as Vice President of Purchasing. Matthew has more than 30 years of experience in the hardware industry, with a proven track record of leadership across retail, vendor, and wholesale operations.

Matthew’s career began in big box retail as an Assistant Manager before transitioning to the vendor side, where he worked closely with both large chain stores and independent dealers. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales and Operations at Monroe Hardware, where he was responsible for overseeing sales, purchasing, marketing, and operations. Under his leadership, Monroe Hardware experienced consistent growth and improved profitability across all departments.
