Building Products Inc. Welcomes Industry Veterans to Leadership Team

Building Products Inc. (BPI), a family-owned distributor of millwork and building materials serving the Midwest for over 65 years, is pleased to announce the addition of two seasoned industry leaders to its executive team: Jason Sigl as Chief Financial Officer and Rick Woltjer as Vice President of Sales.

Jason Sigl, BPI’s new Chief Financial Officer, will oversee financial strategy, human resources, and product procurement. With more than 20 years in finance—much of it in wholesale distribution and retail—he’s built a reputation for driving performance and supporting growth. Sigl holds an MBA from the University of Sioux Falls, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Rick Woltjer, joining BPI as Vice President of Sales, brings four decades of experience in building materials distribution. He’s known for exceeding revenue targets and leading successful product launches, promotional campaigns, and sales team development. Woltjer will focus on strengthening BPI’s partnership with its dealers, ensuring they have the insight, resources, and support they need to achieve sustainable, long-term growth. His passion for coaching and mentoring will position the sales team to better serve our customers and drive success across our dealer network.
