Gillman Home Center Celebrates Grand Opening in North Vernon with Two-Day Event

Gillman Do it Best® Home Center is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest location at 2885 IN-3 in North Vernon, Indiana. The celebration took place on Friday, August 15 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, August 16 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a full schedule of community-centered activities, prize giveaways, and limited-time savings.

The grand opening kicked off Friday with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m., followed by a community cookout from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., proceeds benefited Jennings County United Way. Local radio station 106 The River was on site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. broadcasting live with host Cody Collins. Saturday’s festivities continued with a live remote from WJAA 96.3 and a visit from the Coolbus Crew between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Another cookout ran from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with proceeds supporting AMVETS Post #7.

Throughout both days, customers enjoyed deep discounts on featured products, including folding rockers priced at $39.99, 8″ garden mums for $5.99, and 50% off select DeWalt power tools. The first 150 shoppers each day received a free gift of their choice, while supplies lasted.

Shoppers also had the opportunity to register to win over $1,000 in prize giveaways, including the grand prize—a MIlwaukee PACKOUT Modular Storage System—to be awarded Saturday evening at 6 p.m.
