Building Material Distributor Appoints Bob Higgins to President

Parksite, Inc. announced the appointment of Bob Higgins to President.   “With close to 21 years of proven leadership with Parksite, including the past five as Senior Vice President of Sales, Bob is a natural fit”, stated George Pattee, Chairman.  “His deep industry knowledge, proven background, and strong relationships make him exceptionally well-suited to lead Parksite. With his insights, leadership, and experience, he is positioned to drive growth and create lasting value for our associate-owners who are our shareholders,” continued Pattee.

With more than 30 years of proven leadership in the building products industry, Bob brings a depth of expertise that will be instrumental as Parksite accelerates its growth and diversification strategy. Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Parksite’s successes—spearheading the development of strategic supplier partnerships, expanding the portfolio with innovative and complementary products, integrating acquisitions, and designing sales strategies that strengthened company performance. Before joining Parksite, Bob built a strong foundation in the industry through his career with Weyerhaeuser, where he gained firsthand experience and forged lasting industry relationships.

This announcement comes as our current CEO, Ron Heitzman, has announced his retirement after 25 years with Parksite. We thank Ron for his leadership and commitment to our associate owners and wish him the very best.
