Saint-Gobain Completes the Sale of its Optimera Distribution Business in Denmark

Saint-Gobain announces the completion of the sale of its Optimera construction materials distribution business in Denmark, which achieved annual sales of around €120 million in 2018, to Davidsens Tommerhandel.

This transaction is part of Saint-Gobain’s portfolio optimization strategy within the framework of its new organization. Divestments completed or signed as of today by Saint-Gobain to increase its growth and profitability profile represent over €3.1 billion in sales, marking the continuation of divestments while the initial target of over €3 billion in sales by the end of the year has already been achieved.
