Mead Lumber Welcomes Stephen West as Region 3 Manager

Veteran leader brings more than 30 years of regional management experience to support continued growth across Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota
Mead Lumber is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen West as Region 3 Manager, effective Monday, April 14. In his new role, West will oversee operations across Mead Lumber locations in Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota, succeeding the retiring Region 3 Manager Jim Sturm.
West brings more than three decades of leadership experience in contractor relations and operations management. Most recently, he served as President of Zarsky Lumber in Texas, where he was responsible for seven locations and led company-wide efforts in operations, strategy, and growth.

His background includes executive roles on the professional contractor and retail side at Lowe’s, where he was known for building high-performing teams and improving operational efficiency. As well as Safelite AutoGlass, where he focused on regional goal-setting, metrics, marketing consistency, and developing people.
