Report: Woodgrain to Close its Pilot Rock, Oregon Facility
On July 1, 2025, Woodgrain, Inc. (HQ: Fruitland, ID) filed a WARN Notice (#9285) with Oregon Rapid Response Coordinator, Michael Welter and Mayor Randy Gawith of Pilot Rock, Oregon.
In the filing, Woodgrain stated that “on or after September 1, 2025, Woodgrain, Inc. will permanently close its Pilot Rock sawmill located at 600 NW Cedar St, Pilot Rock, OR 97868. The number of employees affected is 62.”
It was noted that “affected employees do not have bumping rights, as they are not represented by a union.”
