“By investing in initiatives such as ScienceFest, we are helping to create a new generation that will be part of significant discoveries and advance the field of coatings,” said Jan Sipan, PPG market director, Czechia, Architectural Coatings. “At PPG, we are committed to protecting and beautifying the world, and through our products, we extend the life of materials and surfaces, contributing to sustainability. At the same time, we support education in the communities where we operate. Our goal is to nurture future leaders by inspiring education and supporting the career development of students of all ages.”

As a main partner for the third year, PPG aimed to inspire young minds through interactive experiments including 3D volcano models where they conducted basic chemical reactions, observing color changes. They also participated in educational quizzes focused on colors, with the chance to win special prizes. All activities were designed to engage and educate, fostering curiosity and learning in a fun environment.

“Our partnership and collaboration with PPG is truly inspiring and enables us to create an engaging and educational program for curious visitors of all ages, from young children to adults,“ said Irena Krumlova, ScienceFest manager. “Their workshop invited participants in the process of mixing colors, playfully and entertainingly demonstrating the possibilities and practical uses of coatings in our everyday environment.“

PPG’s global community engagement efforts and the PPG Foundation aim to bring color and brightness to PPG communities around the world. We invested $18.4 million in 2024, supporting hundreds of organizations across more than 30 countries.
