New Executive Leadership Appointments at IFG

Idaho Forest Group (IFG) is pleased to announce several important leadership transitions.
Effective immediately, Todd Brinkmeyer has assumed the role of Chairman and CEO, transitioning from his position as President. Todd’s journey with IFG began as a teenager. Over the several decades since, he has gained extensive industry and leadership experience as the owner and operator of a sawmill, particleboard plant, and other ventures beyond the forest products industry. For the past 18 months, he has served as IFG’s acting President?his deep understanding of the business and clear vision for its future make him the right leader to guide IFG forward.
We are also pleased to share that Kevin Esser has been appointed President, transitioning from his role as Chief Financial Officer. Since joining IFG over fifteen years ago, Kevin has played a critical role in strengthening the company’s financial strategy and operations. With a deep understanding of our business and strong leadership skills, Kevin is well positioned to lead IFG in this next chapter.
As part of this transition, Marc Brinkmeyer will step back from his active role as Owner and Board Chair and will assume the title of Owner/Founder. Marc’s vision and leadership have been instrumental in shaping IFG into one of North America’s largest and most respected lumber manufacturers. While he remains engaged in a supportive capacity, this shift allows him to focus on his other ventures within the forest products landscape.
With Marc’s decades of invaluable leadership and Todd and Kevin’s deep roots and experience within the company, IFG is strongly positioned for a future full of opportunity and continued success.
