Roseburg Names Eric Ford Vice-Chair of Board of Directors

Roseburg Forest Products announced that Eric Ford has been elected vice-chair of its Board of Directors. Ford, who has served on the board since 2011, is the son of company owner Allyn Ford and a member of the third generation of family leadership.
“I am very pleased to have Eric assume additional responsibilities as the board’s vice chair.’’ said Board Chair Ron Parker. “He has long been a trusted voice on our board, and he has the full support of the Ford family and his fellow directors as he steps into this new role.”
Ford is the owner of Western Lumber Company, an international wholesale lumber firm based in Medford, Oregon. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and continues to support the college in various capacities.
“I am deeply honored to serve as vice-chair of Roseburg’s Board,” Ford said. “This company’s success has always come from the hard work and dedication of its people. I am grateful for the opportunity to support them while working with my fellow directors to help Roseburg plan and modernize for the future.”
In addition to his role with Roseburg, Ford serves on the company’s Family Advisory Board and has previously served on the state board for Special Olympics Oregon.
